Although, I know everything is a process I just knew there was something I needed to change. Yes, I know the typical change for most people is changing your hair and as most my hair has been through many ups and downs. This feeling came over me and I was completely over having black and dark brown hair so I decided to go back to blonde even though I knew it's not exactly healthy for my hair. I know adding color to my hair is damaging but if you know how to take care of it then it will withstand the chemicals. So I went back to some blonde and I'm loving it but I still felt the need to do something else. One night as I always do, I was searching YouTube for random things. While searching I came across these natural curly hair Queens like Frogirl Ginny, The Find Guru, Jaelah Majette, and many more. Something inside me triggered and at that moment I decided to never use heat again. I wanted to embrace the REAL me.

 With Summer right around the corner a few of us are scrambling last minute to find the hottest swimsuits. Whether its for the pool and/or beach you want to look fierce while your enjoying time as all women do! The key I found is to match the cut of the swimsuit to your curves and the colors/patterns to your personality! Nowadays women are expected to have this perfect thin body with no flaws. All thanks to TV and what's in the magazines. I personal hate it! It's not setting REAL expectations for women. Some women become insecure and start going through depression because of what we are "supposed" to look like. All women should love and embrace their body that they have.

Lets be REAL right now. Women come in all different sizes and there is nothing wrong with that. Yes, we should all be healthy but that can be done by loving and taking care of yourself. Self-appreciation is the best kind of appreciation! You should still feel good about yourself if you have cellulite, differing pigmentation, rolls, scars, and stretch marks. Having all of those things or other things may cause you to not feel beautiful or attractive but I'm here to let you know that you are still beautiful. Embrace every inch of your body! I know building yourself up is hard but you can take small steps like I did to help with that.

5. Set small goals & celebrate when reaching them

Relationships must go beyond the surface in order to develop. And beyond the surface—beauty fades. As time goes on being beautiful can’t make up for a lack of personality, goals, aspiration or passion. Attraction is the initial reaction igniting the interest of the opposite sex, and most of that is physical but the rest comes from personality and compatibility. I don’t think of myself as beautiful—cute, yes but I am not the filtered standard of beauty and I don’t even wear make-up just the occasional lipstick.

There is this misconception that it’s somehow easier when you’re beautiful, but it’s not. Beauty is only skin deep. It’s only easier when you work on yourself as a person. When you learn to stand in the mirror and embrace the flaws as unique personal trends. When you stop trying to conform to these artificially inflated standards of beauty that are designed to make you feel like less of a woman and embrace the woman that you are.

Take back what it means to be beautiful twist it around and make it in to your own standard.

I'll start off with one of my favorite brands, which is MOVADO. Not only do I own one of these amazing watches but a dear friend of mine does as well. It's such a modern, sophisticated, elegant look. I had to have almost every one's favorite brand Michael Kors on my top 4! They are affordable and extremely stylish watches. MK has also added the smart watch to the collection. Smart watches come in 6 different colors with interchangeable straps and it displays text messages, email alerts, etc. As you all might be wondering it is water resistant as well. Lastly I have Daniel Wellington watches on my list. I fell in love with their watch on IG about 2 years ago. My current favorite the Classic Petite Watch in rose gold.
