I had the pleasure of attending a Love You Luncheon held by Women Transforming The Valley yesterday. Which is a nonprofit organization that celebrates, supports, & promotes women in the Lehigh Valley Pennsylvania community. I'm all for organizations who empower women! There were different business who had a table set up at the event such as Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley CareerLink, Lehigh Valley Girls Rock, & more. It's so good to see a community all coming together for a good reason.
The entire idea and reason behind the event was to empower women and encourage them to love themselves and inspire them. There were moments when the guest speakers just had me so locked in and focused on what they were saying. It varied from women explaining what they had went through and how far they had come since then to businesses I had mentioned in the community explaining what they have to offer. What was very interesting was two of the speakers were men who shared their perspective on how they see and support women. Being at an event focused on women you wouldn't think to have male speakers but it was good and refreshing to see men share their thoughts on women.
Overall the event was amazing and it was a packed house full of beautiful women. I also want to give a huge thank you to Women Transforming The Valley for inviting me. I will for sure be attending more of WTLV events in the future!
